Rocket Mortgage is looking for career-motivated individuals. Goal setting can seem intimidating, especially if you are at the start of your career. If you don't have a premeditated trajectory for your career just yet, think about what you're looking for in a job and a company. Make a list of ideas, starting with what inspires you. Think about your personal and professional priorities and what your ideal situation would be in five years. From there, draft a five-year career plan. You'll do this by taking all of your goals, ambitions, and priorities and breaking up those macro goals into smaller, more easily achievable micro-goals. Plot out your next 14 days. Then the following six weeks, the following ten months, and then the remaining four years. Once you've identified and projected timelines for your goals. Adjust them based on which goals you overestimated your timeframes to accomplish and those you underestimated.

Writing a five-year career plan requires flexibility while you master your time management and projections. Once you've mapped that out, determine how Rocket Mortgage fits into those priorities and your plan. If possible, assure the interviewer that you plan to stay with Rocket Mortgage for the long term.
