"Just last month I was asked to lead our day shift employees when my boss was away on sick leave. I took charge for two weeks, and the experience was quite positive! I believe the biggest success factor was that I tried to emulate his leadership style and did ask his help when I wasn't sure what to do. I feel this experience prepared me for a leadership role. I am excited to take on a team lead role again."

Management always has projects for the Center Leadership Team to address. I will often get a group of employees together and work out a game plan on how to accomplish the goals. The biggest success factor I believe is communication. With proper communication, everyone is aware of their role in the process.

You're right - communication is key to being a successful leader. However, this answer could benefit from being more specific. Rather than talking in general terms, talk about a specific time when you gathered the team, developed an action plan, and then accomplished the goal. Share details about how you communicated with your team to help them understand the goal and their unique roles. You can also talk about how you communicated when issues arose in order to quickly solve problems and maintain team momentum.
