In order to work for MediClinic, you must be able to pass a drug test and full criminal background check. Do you consent to both of these requirements?

Working at MediClinic means that you are in contact with vulnerable people, children, pharmaceutical drugs, drug-related equipment, confidential information, and other areas of sensitivity. One hard requirement of securing employment with MediClinic is the ability to pass a full criminal background check and drug test. Assure the interviewer that you are able and willing to pass their drug test and background check. If you have a criminal record, you must disclose this during your interview to have any chance at the job you are interviewing for.

"I am happy to say that I have a clean criminal record and am willing to comply with any background check and drug test you require."

"I have a misdemeanor on my record from 15 years ago. I am happy to continue in the interview process and comply with your background check and a drug test should you allow for some exceptions."

If you have a clean record and do not use drugs, assure the interviewer that they will find nothing during the background check or drug test. If you have a criminal history, you must tell the interviewer and be prepared to answer any follow-up questions regarding your conviction.
