"Last year, my employer purchased an Accuvein device to help phlebotomists find the veins of patients we would normally have a hard stick on. I can't explain enough how great of a device this has been. While I consider myself a great Phlebotomist with an excellent ability to have successful sticks, the times when I would struggle with a patient would eat at me. After quickly training on the Accuvein, I became very adept at working with all patients, and the device has made me quicker in my work and provided many patients with much more comfort. It was a true win-win for all!"

"A career in business communications has required me to be ever-changing and flexible when faced with evolving technology. I am a very computer-literate person, and I have prided myself up to this point in my career on my ability always to seek new technologies and programs that make me better in my work. A recent example is the Slack app for the team I lead with my current healthcare organization. Since we are on the road a lot and working remotely, this app allows up-to-date communication and messaging among my team using their cellphone rather than needing to connect to the internet via their laptops. Things like Slack have made my job leading a team much more efficient and enabled our work to be more productive."
