I'm currently working with state-of-the-art production and packaging machinery that is fast and reliable. The reason I suggest this is because I know a current process operator here and it sounds like the machines in this plant are over 15 years old."

The interviewer wants to see that you have a keen attention to detail and that you care about the quality of the product delivered to every customer. Provide your recommendation tactfully as it relates to the work you would be doing in the role you are interviewing for.
