Remember to focus your answer on executive-level roadmaps. The interviewer would not expect to hear a candidate discuss their process for documenting individual tasks on a Gantt Chart or other tasks related to lower-level deliverables such as individual project plans.

"I contributed to our team's roadmaps when I worked as an analyst. I helped define the strategic and tactical initiatives we were working on and communicated how they aligned with various business groups.

In my current position as an implementation manager, I work with my clients to help them define roadmaps for implementing our SaaS solutions. We typically use a phased approach, and the roadmaps communicate high-level initiatives, timelines, cost, capital/operating split, and status.
