"As a technical program manager at Coinbase, I feel I could demonstrate 100% responsibility for achieving the mission of Coinbase in a number of ways. Essentially, I would apply my end-to-end ownership skill set to the mission of the company. This would have three main aspects.
First, I would ensure that any strategic planning initiatives I engage in with my business stakeholders clearly align with the mission. Any high-level features or plans that do not speak directly to the development of worldwide economic freedom should be questioned further and redesigned as necessary.
Next, I would ensure that my teams understand fully the business goals and how they specifically contribute to the mission of Coinbase. Additionally, I would foster an environment where we continually ask ourselves how the decisions we make as project teams align with the mission. For example, if we are trying to decide on new technology for a customer feature, we should make our selection based on the tool that best sets the stage for our customers to educate themselves and easily invest in crypto.
Finally, I would encourage my teams to continually improve our own internal operations, education, and processes. Any improvements we could make in these areas lead to cost reduction that could potentially free resources to be invested in areas that have a direct impact on the mission of the company."
