Remember to add in a feature that would set your kitchen faucet apart from the standard offering within the faucet market. "The kitchen sink faucet I would design would have all of the basic features that customers have become accustomed to, such as a pull-down sprayer, an attractive design, and it would be available in a number of finishes to accommodate the customer's preferences. It would also have a button that allows you to switch between spray and stream as well as a stream pause feature.
In addition to the basics, I would add a hands-free option to change the temperature of the water. I often find that my hands are dirty with things I do not want to get on the faucet handle when I need to adjust the temperature. Some of the faucets available today have a sensor that allows you to move your hand from side to side to turn the water on and off. I would adjust this feature to allow for up and down movements to adjust the temperature. The up and down motion is an intuitive match for the function it would be tied to, and it leverages technology that already exists. I feel this would be a feature that would be valued and could set my faucet product apart from the competition."
