Boston Scientific firmly believes in developing its employees and helping them grow into a career path that meets both the employee's needs and the organization's needs. For this question, your interviewer would like to hear that you would like to stay with the company as you develop new skills in the job that you are interviewing for. Tell the interviewer your long-term goal, but make sure it aligns with where the company is going by doing your research on the organization, their products, and the types of jobs that they typically hire for.

"I noticed at Boston Scientific, you have facilities in countries all across the globe. This is really exciting to me. I'd love to be in this role for several years, but then think about how I could use the skills I've learned to work in one of your global locations. I'd love to work overseas for a few years and then come back to a leadership role in sales at some point."

"One of the elements of Boston Scientific that I really love is the career growth opportunities. I'd love to take the knowledge I'll gain in this role and move to the sales organization to be the person in front of clinicians, showing them the great things our devices can do. When you are selling something you believe in, it doesn't really feel like selling, it just feels like helping people."

Whenever I enter a company I do it thinking about a long career, my goal is never to get a temporary job. My long-term dream is to be able to grow within the company to a supervisory role. I am currently in charge of 4 people and I feel that I learn both from them and from my own supervisors.
