      How to Answer

Interviewers often ask this question as an icebreaker at the beginning of an interview. Sometimes, the question can throw off candidates because they don't know where to begin. But this question isn't meant to be difficult. Instead, the interviewer is letting you set the mood.

Before your interview, prepare a two or three-sentence biography that discusses your educational and professional history. Give a short overview of your skills or personality and a brief explanation of why you want this job.
