How would you describe your communication skills?

Explain how you can communicate with diverse individuals in oral and written form. If you have a letter of recommendation or performance review that describes your communication skills, use one of those as an example. If you do not, describe your verbal and written communication skills and include an example.

Avoid saying your communication skills could use improvement. The interviewer will pass you over for another candidate if you have poor communication skills. If you need to strengthen your communication skills, you might want to enroll in a leadership course, public speaking class, or read or watch a video on improving your communication skills.
