The interviewer wants to hear that you have experience leading a team. This doesn't necessarily mean you were a manager or that you were a captain. Good leaders have the ability to lead by example through their words and their actions. Strong leaders have exceptional interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with all personalities in even the most stressful situations. If you have experience leading a team, share what your team accomplished and how your qualities helped enhance the team.
