The interviewer is trying to get a feel for what types of animals you have worked with in your prior roles and what animals you have not worked with. Think about your previous roles and the variety of animals that you have worked with. Discuss what animals you have worked with and tell the interviewer which of those animals you have most worked with and feel most comfortable treating.

"I have had the chance to work with a variety of pets due to working in both a vet clinic as well as a pet emergency center. I have worked with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pigs, horses, rabbits. I have worked with most household pets as well as farm animals."
