Question 32 of 32

Have you ever been in a situation with an animal that became dangerous or a safety concern? How did you handle this situation?

"I have been in a situation where a dog was brought into the Emergency Clinic for a potential broken bone. He was in a great deal of pain and was rather aggressive. I realized pretty quickly that I needed to remove myself from the room so that he could calm down and I asked that the pet owner muzzle the dog. When I entered the room for the second time, I was able to give him medication that quickly eased his pain and made him more comfortable which eliminated his aggression."
