"There are four core values of SAFe. Alignment is a core value that represents the need to align vision and solutions across an enterprise. This ensures solutions are scalable and reusable and that the right solutions are built based on the senior-level vision that is properly translated into an end product.
The second core value is Built-in Quality. This value ensures that quality measures are taken at each step of the product development and maintenance process. This includes establishing quality information and value stream flows as well as continued use of DevOps best practices.
The third core value is Transparency. The transparency value is built upon trust across verticals and various management levels within an enterprise. Backlogs are open and accessible across all levels to help establish a shared vision. The fourth and last core value is Program Execution. All of the quality, alignment, and transparency measures of SAFe enhance this value and lay the framework for successful execution. SAFe has mechanisms for continually assessing the level of execution of various release trains and defining action plans to improve when results are less than optimal."
