"In one of my courses last year we completed a group project that involved a mock email campaign. Our mock client was a wedding coordinator. We decided to start the campaign off with a promotional contest for fall and winter weddings. The winners would win different tiers of wedding packages, including venue design, photography, and the like. I developed most of the written content for the email, while another group member designed the layout and images. We had to come up with a total of five emails, a schedule, and write about how we'd segment our audience. It was a fun experience and our work was well-received by the class when we tested the campaign."
