The interviewer wants to know why you are applying for this particular internship. Your response allows them to determine if you've done your research about the company and if your career goals align with the internship opportunity.
"As a marketing major, I've dreamed of working for a company that will allow me to improve my graphic design skills. I love designing and know learning more about different design tools and strategies will strengthen my resume. I know that your company has a strong graphic design team and I would really value learning from them."
