How to Answer
The interviewer wants to know how much you know about HOA laws. Before your interview, take some time to research HOA laws and how they impact the residents and neighborhood. Also, do a search for the HOA laws specifically for the location you are interviewing for. Become familiar with them and address any questions you might have during the interview.
Some common HOA laws include:
-Noise limitations
-Home design must be similar to the other homes in the community (changes such as paint, adding decks or patios, and other modifications)
-Trash and recycling rules
-Vehicles and designated parking spots
-Landscaping
-Rental rules

We have rules that state where we can park, the type of holiday decorations we can display, hours that limit and allow noise, and other rules pertaining to landscaping. I took some time to read the HOA laws of your organization and they seem to be aligned with common laws so they were easy to understand and I don't foresee any issues enfocring them."
