Nearly all hospitals use some form of EHR system today. Some of the top systems include Epic, Oracle Cerner, and MEDITECH. Discuss the systems you are familiar with, your length of experience using them, how comfortable you feel using EHRs, and your experience training others. If you lack experience, assure the interviewer that you're willing and able to learn!

"I have extensive experience with two EHRs: Epic and Oracle. I would describe my skills as expert-level. I have trained many staff nurses on these systems. I'm a quick learner, so if your hospital uses a different system, I'm more than willing to learn and am confident I would catch on quickly."

I have experience with multiple EHR systems including Point Click Care, Eclinical Works, and Epic. I also have experience with the system used at Mercy Hospital which was specific for that health system. I am pretty tech savvy and I am usually used as a resource for other staff members that have questions about the EHR system being used.
