This can encompass applications hosted on-premise and in the cloud and standard off-the-shelf programs and custom-written applications. Application integration enables independently designed software applications to seamlessly work together. The application integration engineer should be able to develop platforms, standards, and methodologies that integrate the flow of multiple functions performed by disparate applications."
