As an application analyst, you will be asked to provide recommendations for a wide variety of software products. These include system applications, applications specific to business tasks the organization performs, network applications, and other types of software. You can be asked about any of these during the interview. You may not be familiar with each specific application, but you should be familiar with and talk about general categories.
