"In my previous position, I suggested that we install a separate line for packaging that would allow the company to box up and seal product almost 50% faster. The supervisor agreed, presented it to the company, and after the installation of the packaging line, our output grew by 38%. That meant more money for the company because they had more product to sell."

"I am currently involved in our environmental committee charge with ideas of how to make the company more eco-friendly. We have been working on a project that will reduce our carbon footprint. One of my ideas was to award employees who carpool together extra bonus points that they can accrue and use during the year - for perks or to have a paid personal day. A lot of our employees loved the idea and stopped driving as many cars to the plant."
