In your personal life, what do you consider your greatest achievement so far?
"I'd say it was building the life I envisioned for myself. I'm a proud homeowner, happily married, and looking forward to starting a family. We live in a very comfortable neighborhood. I feel grateful every day for the opportunities I've been presented with and feel lucky that I had the wisdom to not let those opportunities pass me by."
Sharing a 'greatest' accomplishment will clue them into your values, personality, motivators, and how this personal interest fuels your dedication toward success. Why you followed this accomplishment through to completion will clue them into whether it stands apart from your professional pursuits or potentially complements their work. When you offer your example, consider why this achievement was important to you, how you went about it, and what it contributed to your life. If possible, try to present yourself as an innovator with a unique lens toward outside-of-the-box thinking.
Remember, a hiring manager will be viewing your recorded interview later on. To increase your chances of landing an in-person interview, maintain eye contact in front of the camera as if you're speaking face-to-face with a person. You always want to appear as a calm and collected professional who is prepared to answer any question. Showing your personality as well can go a long way.
