Would you consider furthering your post-secondary education to include a Ph.D. in your field if hired at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals?

To get a feel for how you want your career to grow down the road, your interviewer proposes this question to see if you have ever put any thought into furthering your education down the road if hired at Regeneron.

"I have considered furthering my education to include a Ph.D. It would need to be in tandem with full-time employment here at Regeneron, but I would certainly consider achieving this goal through evening and weekend coursework."

"This early in my career, I've decided to jump into the workforce with my Master's degree to gain some great work experience and to see where my career takes me with a great company like Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. Down the road, I'd certainly be open to considering Ph.D. or other advanced degrees."

First and foremost, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. If you have considered furthering your education to include a Ph.D., tell your interviewer that you've been considering this. If your career goals don't include furthering your formal education, that is fine. Just reiterate that fact and your goals to your interviewer.
