How do you maintain a solid balance between your personal life and work?

It is essential to keep a healthy work/life balance to prevent burnout, and your interviewer needs to hear that you will join their team with the ability to strike a balance.
"I find that, with the right company, it's pretty simple to balance life and work. When I enjoy what I do, it doesn't feel like a chore. I am always sure that when at home, my family gets my attention first. I take time on the weekends to do things for myself and ensure that I regenerate before the work week begins."
Talk to the interviewer about how you maintain the appropriate work/life balance. You do not want to answer as though work is so exhausting that you cannot keep up, but you also do not want to come across as a workaholic either. Find a healthy balance by discussing some of the hobbies you do outside of work that help you refresh your mind and body outside of work.
"As you know, this can be tough in our field with the evening phone calls and the long days that can occur from time to time. For me, a great balance comes down to setting boundaries for myself. When I'm off the clock, my time is focused on myself to recharge my internal batteries. I am a very active person outside of work and love the outdoors. I find this helps ease my mind of any work-related stress and helps me mentally prepare for any upcoming challenges on the job."
