Question 17 of 44

What are your weaknesses?

"Given my sales experience in healthcare and other industries, I'm confident that I can step into this role at Johnson and Johnson, take the reins quickly, and continue your market dominance with orthopedic surgery in the region. Where I feel my biggest perceived weakness would be is in this subspecialty of medicine. However, I know my years of pharmaceutical sales have given me a ton of great experience in the hospital setting and I know what physicians need. I want you to be assured that I'm a very fast learner and would want to spend my initial weeks on the job mastering the entire product line I will be working with and shadowing some of my new colleagues to learn the new market I would be joining."

      How to Answer

The Johnson & Johnson Credo, their formalized mission statement, is all about the responsibility the organization has in doing what is right for the people they serve, the people they employ, the communities they serve, and their stockholders. For employees, this responsibility comes with putting your best foot forward every day on the job. Knowing that no candidate they interview is perfect, your interview wants to hear your honest assessment of what your biggest weakness will be if you were to be hired. This is the time to be honest with yourself and the J&J team, so be sure to put some thought into this and come ready to discuss how you will strive to learn and overcome your weakness in short order.
