"A few years ago, I was working for a small family-owned business that had a strong customer base that hadn't really grown in several years. The company didn't have any kind of marketing or PR strategy, and I thought it was really keeping the company growing and achieving its yearly goals. For several evenings after work, I researched marketing plans and implementation strategies, and then I put together a presentation for the owners. They approved my marketing plan, and we implemented it over the next several months. That's one of the things I'm most proud of in my career, so I'm very glad to know that JCPenney values employee feedback and ideas as well."
