Huron Consulting Group asks all of its employees to demonstrate leadership skills starting with their first day on the job. Answering no to this question is not an option and failing to prepare to discuss your ability to lead in your interview is a missed opportunity.
The key to successfully answering this question lies in researching Huron's leadership principles (curiosity, earning trust, growth mindset, setting and achieving goals, etc.) and working a few of them into your response. Also, be sure to review articles that discuss common leadership traits and behaviors if you're having trouble preparing for this question and identify a time from your professional or personal past when you exemplified those behaviors.
