What do you think makes for a successful tutoring session?

You may only tutor a student for 30 minutes, and in that time, you want to ensure that they are being helped and leave the session feeling like it was a success. Successful sessions are what keep students coming back. Explain how you know when a session has gone well. Maybe you gain feedback from the student or meet a specific goal.
