On a scale of 1-10, how skilled are you in communication? Why did you choose that particular rating for yourself?
"My current supervisor and co-workers will attest to my clear and concise communication skills. Because I am an open leader, my team also lets me know if I need to clarify anything. Based on this feedback from my current co-workers, I would rate my communication skills as an 8 out of 10. I'm definitely strong in this area, but still have room for improvement as I continue to grow as a leader and become more familiar with the Bath and Body Works communication values."

I would give myself a 9 for communication skills because I am a good listener, and I like talking to people. I've always been the type of person to get held up in conversations with people.

Rachelle's Feedback
If you are interviewing for a retail position, you may want to reword the 'get held up in conversations with people.' One rule with retail is to provide excellent service but also keep your head on a swivel for others who may need your help at the same time. This response may indicate that you are very chatty on the job and find it challenging to multitask. I have offered a slight revision, below.
"I give myself a 9 for communication skills. I am an active listener, and I like interacting with customers. I find it easy to hold a conversation with others and uncover their needs."
