Advice and answer examples written specifically for an Amgen job interview.
4. How do you measure success?
How to Answer
Amgen has over 20,000 employees globally and reported nearly $29 billion in revenue in 2021, so they are a very successful company. Speak about how you define success both personally and professionally. Give examples of success that might relate to the position you're applying for (sales, employee retention, marketing, etc.).
Can you define and measure goals? Are you willing to work hard and push others to do the same? What have you achieved short-term and long-term? How does your drive align with the company? What makes the company you're interviewing with successful in the industry? What sets them apart and how can you support that?

1st Answer Example
"I define success by my ability to achieve my short-term and long-term goals both personally and professionally. I set milestones for myself and break my goals down into manageable pieces. I also measure success by what I've learned and how achieving my goals has helped me grow and set future goals to really stretch myself."
