Start by defining what a successful class means to you. When students compliment you and continue to come back to your classes, you know you've done a great job! But sometimes you don't get feedback or repeat students. Offering modifications for those who have experienced injuries and teaching to the appropriate level of the students in the class, whether they are beginners or advanced, will help everyone to feel included and more confident in their abilities. You want students to walk away feeling refreshed and encouraged. Share a few examples of ways you have made your classes enjoyable.
