Surgical technologists assist with a wide range of surgeries, including but not limited to general surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecological surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, and plastic surgery. They play a critical role in the operating room by preparing the surgical environment, arranging and passing surgical instruments to surgeons and nurses, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
