The interviewer asks if you have the credentials they require for the job. Some agencies will need you to have an Advanced General/Specific Peace Officers Standards and Training certificate or equivalent, while others may prefer that you possess a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator certificate. Describe any certifications you have related to the position of SIU investigator. If specific credentials are required, the agency should have mentioned that in the job announcement.

Focus on keeping your answer brief. Name any certifications you have and any you are currently working towards. If you do not have any certifications related to the position, explain to the interviewer that while you do not currently possess any certifications, you are willing to obtain them if needed.
