"I use a variety of resources and strategies to keep students engaged. I love to utilize visual aids, videos, and social media to help my visual learners. Relevancy is also important in teaching content. Students want to know how new information applies to their lives. I like to begin lessons with questions or a hook that immediately captivates students' attention and holds their interest. I also like to vary my approach to keep things new and exciting. Sometimes that means going outside for a lesson or doing some sort of demonstration. I love to search Pinterest and different blogs for new ideas to keep students curious and learning interactive."
