Tutors are constantly encouraging students to achieve success, and to do this you need to be positive and energetic. Talk about how you bring energy and positivity to your sessions, and how you model these characteristics for your students. For some students, having a tutor says something negative about themselves that they would need this extra work. It can produce anxiety or they can even feel intimidated. The interviewer is looking for someone who has a skill set who can set the tone to alleviate the many anxieties a student might bring.
