"When I was in high school, my father was given too large of a dose of heart medication, which caused a mild heart attack just days after beginning to take the medication. At the time, I knew that I wanted to pursue some sort of career in the medical field. Not wanting to see another family go through what we did due to a careless mistake, I decided this was the right career path for me."

"I've always wanted to be behind the scenes in patient care. I have a strong desire to help patients recover from sickness and injury, and nursing wasn't the career for me as I couldn't handle the dirty parts of that job.
