What has been your most rewarding patient-care experience to date?

"I have had a multitude of rewarding experiences in this career, but I would say that the one which impacted me the most was a patient I had with severe autism. She was just 9 years old and had the biggest smile on her face every day I showed up at her home. We would play some games, and we made a powerful connection during the time that I cared for her."
