While researching Tarmac before applying for the role, I was delighted to read about the effort put towards sustainability. While working on construction sites in Australia the amount of waste on most sites was alarming. So to see one of the UK biggest builders taking direct action to reduce their carbon footprint and make a net positive contribution to biodiversity was a huge plus for me. With Tarmac being a driving force in new construction technologies I knew the education I would get from this apprenticeship would be the best in the field.
