Although you may be eager to start immediately, you will need to give your employer the customary two weeks' notice before leaving if you are currently employed. Explaining this to the interviewer will show that you are courteous and respectful to your employer. If you are not presently employed, saying that you can start immediately shows your excitement to begin your apprenticeship. Describe your situation and when you could start if they choose you for the position.
