What are you reading right now?
Interview teams at dental schools ask candidates about the books they are currently reading for two reasons. First, they want to hear that you set aside time to feed your mind regularly through reading. Second, they're looking for a bit of insight into what interests you on a personal level through your reading choices.
"Currently, I am reading 'Ego is the Enemy' by Ryan Holiday. It is a book about ambition, resilience, and success. I feel that everyone should read it - it comes highly recommended."
Talk to the interviewers about a book that you are currently reading. If you are not currently reading a book, discuss one that has impacted you the most over the last few years.
Community answers are written by other candidates practicing this set. Reading how others frame the same question is one of the fastest ways to sharpen your own.

Dentistry News and My Morning Routine. I have read new technology and interprofessional education in the medical field. I am interested in 3D printing in dentistry and how a dentist works with other health professional fields. My Morning Routine is a very interesting book as well because it gives ideas on how important for people to handle the morning effectively. I did learn a lot of concepts from it.
