Focus on specific things you will do to contribute to the company right away. You'll want to show that you'll take an active approach to learning your role, and emphasize that you'll make it a priority to be productive within your first few days on the job. However you decide to answer this question, you'll want to demonstrate that you understand the main duties of the job and that you know how to set and achieve goals. It's also important to demonstrate that you know when to reach out for help or more information when needed.

"In addition to getting to know the team and getting fully up to speed with the role, there's a lot I want to accomplish during my first three months in the role. In my past internship, my first few days involved meeting with my mentor and manager and setting delivery goals for my internship. Since the internship was only 90 days, I had a clear view of what needed to be accomplished. I would want to do the same thing with this role so that I can get off to a quick start in delivering the most urgent and important needs for the team."
