It is important that Western University School of Dental Medicine exercises great discernment when choosing applicants. What is your plan if you are not accepted into our school of dentistry this year?

"Should I not be accepted into dental school the first time, I plan to reapply the following year. Over the next year, I would plan on retaking the DAT to improve my score and look into options for pursuing basic dental research to boost my CV."

"I will continue to make myself the best applicant possible, be that through research opportunities in the dental field or additional pre-dental coursework to show you that I am not only worthy of being a dental student at Western University but incredibly dedicated as well."

If you are not accepted into the Western University School of Dental Medicine program, you want to show that you will take a different path, perhaps into dental hygiene or dental/medical sales. Alternatively, you can let the interviewers know that one rejection won't stop you at all! Talk about your plan to reapply if rejected. Whatever path you choose, you must show the interviewers you have confidence and drive. It'll take more than one rejection to keep you down!
