You already know that your DAT (Dental Admission Test) score is between 1-30, with 30 being the highest possible mark. The DAT tests students on Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Reasoning, Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Your overall score is calculated from your score in all five categories and then rounded up to the nearest average. Looking at national DAT averages, a score of 17-18 is typically considered average. A Dental Admission Test score of 19-20 is good, and a score of 22+ is considered very high. Keep your answer straightforward and concise.

"My DAT overall Academic Average was 24. I would say that I am happy with the score. I am proud that I put in a considerate amount of hard work and dedication to achieve that score by studying during the summer. I particularly enjoyed the science section, as it was quite broad so I was able to learn many new things that I had not encountered in my undergraduate classes. I found that my interest in sciences translated to my success in that section. One section I would like to see improve would be the PAT. I spent most of my time the month before the exam focusing on reading comprehension, as I found this is a weakness of mine and this took away from my time on PAT. Should I do things differently in the future, I would not want to spend as much time on my weaker areas and neglect stronger areas that still require practice. This is a lesson I will apply to my study habits in dental school."
