The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy puts out an annual Graduation and Employment Status for Doctor of Pharmacy information data PDF that lists the graduation rate, employment status at graduation, practice environments of graduating students, employment location, and practice goals for three years. The majority of graduates polled expected to be working in a community pharmacy in the next three years, while the next highest number is looking at general institutions. The interviewers are interested in where you see yourself practicing in the next three years to see that you are looking ahead to the future and have goals for graduation and beyond.
