As a pharmacist, there are certain signs that you need to watch out for, which might indicate possible prescription drug abuse. These signs include patients requesting early refills, showing signs of anxiety or nervousness when requesting refills, patients requesting specific medications by name, or patients presenting prescriptions from multiple doctors or pharmacies. You must be vigilant and take any signs of drug abuse seriously, as it is your responsibility to ensure that medications are used safely and appropriately.

The interviewers want to know that you are familiar with the potential dark side of pharmaceutical drugs. Show that you will be responsible as a pharmacist, capable of recognizing the signs of drug addiction, and comfortable handling these situations.
