Interviewers at the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy ask you about times when you have had to work under pressure to meet a deadline or complete a task because this is a common scenario in the pharmacy field. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for filling prescriptions quickly and accurately and will have to work efficiently to meet the needs of patients who are waiting for their medications. Additionally, pharmacy students are often expected to handle a high volume of coursework, exams, and assignments, so the ability to work under pressure and manage your time effectively is an important skill to have in this field.
The interviewers want to know if you have experience working under pressure and how you have handled difficult situations in the past. They are also interested in learning more about your problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team under tight deadlines.

"Yes, there was a time during my senior year of college when I had to complete a research paper for one of my classes. I had known about the deadline for weeks but had procrastinated and put off the work until the night before it was due, as I had a lot of other school projects to complete. I found myself under a lot of pressure to finish the paper in a short amount of time because turning it in late was not an option for me.
I had to work quickly to gather all the necessary research materials and information and write the paper in just a few hours. I remember staying up late into the night to finish the paper, but I was determined to finish it on time.
In the end, I submitted the paper on time and received a good grade. However, I learned a valuable lesson about time management and not procrastinating until the last minute."
