What other schools have you applied to, and where does Touro University rank among them?

The interviewers would like to understand the types of schools you are interested in. Knowing where else you're applying will allow them to draw comparisons between them. If there are similarities between the core values or educational approach, they'll better understand what you are looking for and if they can address your needs. If there seems to be no rhyme or reason to where you're applying, they'll potentially assume you are just trying to get accepted anywhere.

Be transparent when sharing who you've applied to, and explain to them your motives for each and what connects them to your desires and pursuits.

On their website, they advertise with pride all they have to offer, "Many of our rotations are in medically underserved communities (MUCs), and all students have at least one rotation in an MUC. Half of each student's rotations are in primary care, and some students choose primary care as their elective as well. Throughout the curriculum and in both PA and public health classes, the social determinants of health are discussed and examined; public service loan programs are presented to all classes; and the Program continually searches for and applies for grants that will help our students financially. As part of our mission to be in service to all patients, all students complete Safe Zone training (LGBTQI), complete the CDC Diabetes Prevention Program to become certified lifestyle coaches, and graduate X-Waiver eligible allowing them to participate in Medication-Assisted Treatment for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). Our graduates demonstrate our success: Over seventy-five percent of our graduates work in a MUC, in primary care, or both!"
