How do you keep yourself from burning out on your studies?

Your interviewers are looking for insights into how you cope with stress. Validating the big-picture nature of the question can go a long way. When relocating to another locale for school, especially where you know very few people nor much about the area, you might find yourself in a situation with no separation between your studies and personal life. If you are stressed at school, you'll burn out faster, and your performance will suffer. So the trick to this question is explaining how you strike harmony and balance when stepping away from the stresses of your coursework. Ponder this before you answer.
