How does your family feel about you becoming a PA? Do you have a great deal of support?

The interviewers want to know that if you were accepted into South University, you would have the support required for your heavy and challenging workload. Talk a bit about your family, such as anyone who lives near you or how your family expresses their excitement for your career. You can also mention anyone in your family who may have had a similar path in the medical industry.

"My family is incredibly proud of me for attending medical school. My father is especially keen as he also graduated from South University. My parents and older brother live in the area, so I will have a strong and encouraging support system should I be accepted into South University."

If you, unfortunately, do not have a strong support system from your family, do not dwell on that fact. You want to be honest in your response, but instead of focusing on the negative, try to show some positivity in your answer by saying how proud you are for achieving what you have without the support of your family.
